2025 Popcorn Sale Important Deadlines

Thursday, July 24, 2025:  2025 Popcorn Training - 6:30PM - Parkland College, Champaign, IL 61820

Friday, August 15, 2025: Show & Deliver Order Due to Council (Full Cases) 

Immediately: Take Order Sale Begins

Friday, August 29, 2025: Show & Deliver Distribution

Friday, October 24, 2025:

• Show & Sell Money Due
• Extra Popcorn Due to Office
• Take Orders Due (By Container!!!)

Thursday and Friday, November 6-7, 2025: Take Order Distribution

Friday, December 5, 2025: Popcorn Money Due

2025 Membership and Popcorn Training

Thanks to everyone who attended the 2025 Membership and Popcorn Training.  We really appreciate your help in making sure we are successful in the fall of 2025.  Below are some of the resources that were handed out at the training.

Walmart Show and Sale Scheduling

To be as fair as possible when allowing requests for the Walmart Show and Sale space throughout the Prairielands Council, we will use Tentaroo sign up as we have done with Schnucks in the past. The new process allows for 1 person to schedule the times on the Walmart Spark Good site for non-profits.  Jared will be scheduling all the times. We will start scheduling these for the weekends of the month of September. If there is still interest in October, we will schedule those seperately with units.  We will have Fridays from 4PM to 8PM, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10AM to 6PM. Each Walmart has 2 doors, and the unit will be responsible for working both doors or they can split the time with another unit. 

The Weekends that we will be working with are:

September 5, 6, and 7

September 12, 13, and 14

September 19, 20, and 21

September 26, 27, and 28

If you unit wants weeknights in the month of September, please reach out to Jared separately to get those scheduled.

Logging into the Pecatonica Website 

To get your unit signed up on the Pecatonica website:

• Go to PRPopcorn.com
• Click on “My Account”
• Click on “Create Unit Profile”
• Enter your Council Key (117PLC)
• Choose your District from the dropdown menu
• Choose your unit type from the dropdown menu
• Choose your unit number from the dropdown menu
• Enter a username for the account (this does not need to be an email address as in previous years, but must be unique)
• Enter a Password for the account
• Enter the remaining profile information including the email address where all confirmation emails for the account will be sent.
• Click “Submit”
