The Merit Badge University will take place on Saturday, August 1 with registration starting at 7:30AM and lasting until approximately 5:00 PM. Morning class sessions will start at 8:00 AM and run until 12:00 PM. Lunch will run from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The afternoon sessions will start at 1:00PM and run until 5:00 PM.

The Merit Badge U will be held at Civil and Environmental Engineering located at 301 N. Matthews Ave, Urbana, on the beautiful University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. Civil and Environmental Engineering will be the centralized location for classroom badges that do not have specific locations needs. Other badges will be held at remote locations throughout the campus. Some adults may be asked to help transport due to transportation plans falling through. Lunch will be at ISR located at 1010 West Illinois Street. Free Parking will be located in B4, Northeast of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

But wait, there's more!!! We will also have a 5 mile compass course that takes Scouts on a tour through our campus. This course was designed by Scouts, for Scouts, to complete Second Class requirement 3b. Bring your water bottle and comfy shoes as you traverse through parts of campus you may not have seen before!!

The cost is $30 per Scout, though some badges have additional fees due to having to hire specialized instructors.
