Indian Trails District


Leadership of the District

 

The District Committee oversees the operations of the Scouting program in the Indian Trails District.  The Disitrict Chairman guides the committee to provide membership support, fund-raising, and program developmwent.  The current District Chairman of the Indian Trails District is Fred Bohlmann of Watseka.  You can contact Fred via e-mail at : fredbohlmann@mac.com

 

The District Commissioner provides leadership to the Commissioners Staff of the district.  Commissioners are volunteer administrators who help Cub packs, Scout troops, and Venturing crews in an advisory capacity.  The goal of a unit commissioner is to help the pack, troop, or crew succeed in their Scouting operations.  The current District Commissioner is Vicki Wood of Clifton.  You can contact Vicki via e-mail at: vickiewood422@comcast.net

 

The District Executive coordinates all of the volunteer efforts of the area as the professional staff member. In the role of a staff advisor,  the Disitrict Executive serves the district level volunteers in their decision-making duties.  As the representative of the overall nine-county council, the District Executive provides adminsitrative guidance to all Scouting operations in the district:  The current District Executive is Mike Graham, whose e-mail address is mike.graham@scouting.org

 

 

 


Indian Trails District Details

Indian Trails District consists of 17 packs, 12 troops, 2 Venturing crews and an Explorer Post in east central Illinois. The district boundaries cover Iroquois County, as well as northern portions of Champaign and Vermilion Counties and southern Ford County in Illinois. The Indian Trails District was formed in 1960 as a part of the Piankeshaw Council, headquartered in Danville, IL.
